Fair, transparent, and fast resolutions when something goes wrong
Cancellations
Orders enter automated processing immediately. Cancellations cannot be guaranteed. Once in production or mailed, orders cannot be canceled.
Reprints vs. Refunds
If we make an error, we will reprint or refund. Postage is non-refundable once production starts.
Carrier Issues
USPS delays are not refundable. If a piece was never accepted due to our process, we will fix it.
Cancellations
Once an order is submitted, it immediately enters automated processing and we cannot guarantee that any modifications or cancellations can be made. Contact hello@theletterpilot.com immediately with your order number—if your order has not yet entered production, we may be able to help. Orders marked In Production or Mailed cannot be canceled.
Refunds
- Our error: misprint, wrong stock, or not mailed on time — we will refund or reprint.
- Postage: non-refundable once an order enters production.
- USPS delays/returns: not refundable; we will help investigate tracking.
Reprints
- Our error: free reprint or refund — your choice.
- Address/content errors: not refundable after production; we can offer a discounted reprint.
- Certified Mail: fees are non-refundable once submitted; if not accepted due to our process, we will reprint or refund.
How to Request Help

- Order number
- Issue summary (e.g., misprint, address change, tracking concern)
- Any screenshots or files that help us verify

Common Questions
Can I cancel my order?
Once an order is submitted, it immediately enters automated processing and we cannot guarantee that any modifications or cancellations can be made. Contact support ASAP—if your order has not yet entered production, we may be able to help. Once in production or mailed, cancellation is not possible.
What if I entered the wrong address?
If the order has not entered production, we can update or cancel it. After production starts, address errors are not refundable. We can offer a discounted reprint to the corrected address.
Do you refund postage?
Postage is paid to the carrier at the time of purchase and is not refundable once an order is in production. If we fail to mail your order, we will refund or reprint at our cost.
What if USPS loses or delays my mail?
Carrier delays or service disruptions are outside our control and are not refundable. If tracking shows the piece was never accepted by USPS due to our error, we will reprint or refund.
Certified Mail specifics
Once submitted, Certified Mail fees are non-refundable. If a Certified item is not accepted by USPS due to our process, we will reprint or refund.
